Data Engineer – Build AI‑Driven Learning Data Pipelines

About the role

We are building India’s most intelligent learning platform for UPSC, NEET and JEE aspirants, powered by AI and large‑scale data. As a Data Engineer you will design, implement and maintain the data pipelines that feed our AI models, dashboards and product features.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
• Develop reliable ingestion workflows using Apache Airflow (or similar tools such as Prefect).
• Design, implement and manage data models and schemas in PostgreSQL, AWS S3 and other storage layers.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and analysts to deliver clean, well‑documented datasets.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, traceability and implement monitoring, logging and alerting for pipelines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a data engineer or backend engineer working on data‑intensive systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, data lakes and cloud storage (AWS S3).
• Good understanding of data normalization, versioning and lineage.
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams.
