Data Centre Operation Technician (DCO Tech)

About the role

Join the Operations team responsible for maintaining Amazon's global data centre infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability of servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, supporting internal engineering teams and external service partners.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure server racks and related hardware.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, and networking components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
• Manage and resolve trouble tickets within defined SLAs.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal customers (network, systems, software engineers) and external vendors (hardware suppliers, contractors).

Required profile

• Experience working in a data centre environment or similar hardware‑focused operations role.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site in a fast‑paced, 24/7 operational setting.
