Data Analyst – Power BI

About the role

Lulu Group India is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to lead the design and delivery of CXO‑level Power BI dashboards for its retail business. The role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards for senior leadership, incorporating advanced DAX measures, time‑intelligence, and calculation groups.
• Create efficient semantic data models using star‑schema principles, relationships, and Row‑Level Security.
• Write and optimise SQL queries (joins, CTEs, window functions) on Amazon Redshift, ensuring high performance.
• Manage Power BI Service, including workspaces, gateways, scheduled refreshes, and capacity planning.
• Drive dashboard UX and visualisation standards for clarity, consistency and self‑service usability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into specifications and data models.
• Mentor BI interns and junior analysts, sharing best practices and domain knowledge.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong retail or e‑commerce analytics background is highly preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Power BI (including DAX, Power Query M, data modelling, Row‑Level Security)
• SQL with hands‑on experience in Amazon Redshift
• Power BI Service administration
