Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to lead security activities for our healthcare product portfolio. The role will work closely with product and development teams to embed security throughout the lifecycle, from design to release.

Key responsibilities

• Support project teams in performing security activities during development, project management and service delivery.
• Lead threat and risk analysis workshops and provide guidance on security tools.
• Deliver security training and create training material for product teams.
• Develop, maintain and continuously improve security guidelines, secure coding standards and supply‑chain security practices.
• Collect and analyse security lessons learned, feed them into improvement processes and support incident response activities.
• Stay current on emerging threats, technologies and regulatory changes, and share knowledge within the organization.
• Collaborate with multiple projects simultaneously and travel occasionally outside India for joint activities.

Required profile

• Graduate or Post‑graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field with a focus on Cybersecurity.
• 5‑7 years of overall IT experience, including at least 3 years dedicated to cybersecurity.
• Proven experience securing healthcare products or services.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, HITECH and FDA cybersecurity regulations for medical devices.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP are a plus.

Required skills

• Secure architecture and design.
• Threat modeling and security risk analysis.
• Vulnerability monitoring and third‑party software security evaluation.
• Incident handling, forensic analysis, fuzz and penetration testing.
• Secure coding guidelines, secure software development and deployment.
• Secure supply‑chain management for product lifecycle.
• Knowledge of standards: IEC 62443, NIST SP 800‑x, IEC 80001, CLSI AUTO11‑Ax, ISO 27001.
• Experience with cloud security, IAM, encryption, mobile, network and endpoint security.
