Cyber Vulnerability Management Manager

About the role

Deloitte Consulting is seeking an experienced Manager to lead vulnerability management within its Detect & Respond team. The role focuses on protecting client environments by identifying, prioritising, and remediating security weaknesses across internal and external networks.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and execute vulnerability scans using tools such as Qualys or Tenable.
• Analyse scan results, enrich data, and prioritise remediation actions, including patch deployment and configuration hardening.
• Leverage threat feeds, asset inventories, and reporting frameworks to map assets to CVE and CVSS classifications.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc security reports, supporting situational awareness for leadership and remediation partners.
• Identify gaps in asset information, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and ensure compliance with Deloitte operational security policies.
• Participate in 24x7 rotational shift coverage, providing on‑call support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• 9+ years of experience in vulnerability management, information security, incident response, or related cyber‑security roles.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst, GIAC Continuous Monitoring, or CEH.
• Proven ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.

Required skills

• Vulnerability scanning tools: Qualys, Tenable.
• Patch management platforms: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
• Configuration and ticketing tools: Confluence, Jira, ServiceNow.
• Network protocols and devices: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, routers, switches.
• Vulnerability classification frameworks: CVE, CVSS.
• Experience with network probing, scanning, denial‑of‑service analysis, and malicious code analysis.
