Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to protect our digital assets and networks from evolving cyber threats. The role involves designing security controls, conducting risk assessments, and responding to incidents while collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security measures and controls to safeguard systems and sensitive data.
• Perform risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in hardware, software and networks.
• Monitor security access, conduct regular system tests and detect irregularities.
• Respond promptly to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough investigations.
• Develop and update disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Educate and train staff on information‑security standards, best practices and threat awareness.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of general cybersecurity experience.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on SOAR engineering experience.
• Experience building custom Python integrations against real APIs.
• Proven ability to create end‑to‑end SOAR playbooks from scratch.
• SOAR platform administration experience (RBAC, health monitoring, upgrades).
• Background in a security operations environment (SOC, detection, threat intel).

Required skills

• Python, C++, Java, Ruby programming.
• Familiarity with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS and SIEM tools.
• Network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS.
• Cortex XSOAR and multi‑platform SOAR solutions.
• Custom Python API integration and playbook development.
• SOAR platform administration, RBAC, health monitoring, upgrades.
