Cyber Security Engineer – Application Security

About the role

Join the Cyber Digital & Fraud security team within the CDF central cybersecurity department of BNPP. As a Cyber Security Engineer you will be responsible for safeguarding a wide portfolio of applications by conducting thorough security reviews and supporting remediation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform application security reviews in line with Group requirements.
• Support development and operations teams in implementing cybersecurity controls.
• Analyse security scanner reports and intrusion‑test results.
• Assist in creating and tracking vulnerability remediation plans.
• Provide IT and cyber risk advisory to stakeholders.
• Prepare risk reports, management information and contribute to Operational Resilience KPI dashboards.
• Classify applications based on confidentiality, integrity, availability and traceability.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT risk and cyber security within a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of application security, cyber threats and risk assessment.
• Ability to work calmly under time constraints and to escalate issues appropriately.
• Self‑motivated with a high level of commitment.
