Customer & Plant Quality Champion

About the role

Bosch is seeking a proactive Customer & Plant Quality Champion to ensure the highest standards of quality across its automotive electronics manufacturing plant in Chennai. You will be responsible for driving quality initiatives, managing customer requirements, and supporting certification processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS) and support automotive QMS certification.
• Manage change‑management processes, including customer information and approvals.
• Review and authorize quality gates for new projects and coordinate PPAP activities.
• Handle 0 km complaints, warranty claims, and field‑failure analysis.
• Maintain the IQIS system for all complaint types and drive continuous quality improvements across the value stream.
• Implement zero‑defect initiatives and conduct risk assessments for concessions or complaints.
• Coordinate internal, external, and customer audits, and support product and process audits.

Required profile

• B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer‑focused quality management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict‑management abilities.
• Proven teamwork and leadership skills with emotional stability.

Required skills

• Quality Management System (QMS) implementation.
• Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) coordination.
• IQIS complaint management.
