Corporate Legal & Litigation Counsel (Retainer)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Legal & Litigation Counsel to join our team on a retainer basis. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, and dispute matters for a fast‑growing organization.

Key responsibilities

• Provide corporate legal advisory and draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Manage civil and commercial litigation across multiple forums, including recovery proceedings, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
• Advise business units on regulatory and compliance issues.
• Coordinate with external counsel and oversee ongoing litigation matters.
• Support legal strategy for business transactions and operational initiatives.

Required profile

• 7–8 years of post‑qualification experience in corporate law and litigation.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Prior exposure to NBFCs, banks, FinTech, or the BFSI sector is a significant advantage.
• Experience with lending, recovery, regulatory compliance, and commercial dispute management is preferred.
