Control Advisory Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Control Advisory Manager to join our Control Utility team in Bengaluru. In this role you will partner with Business Control Officers and Control Owners to design, engineer and remediate controls that are sustainable, automated and aligned with enterprise standards.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to divisions and functions on control design, remediation and automation.
• Review process changes, new initiatives and projects for control implications and ensure compliance with COSO, SOX and COBIT frameworks.
• Design, engineer and implement preventive and detective controls to strengthen risk mitigation.
• Lead remediation efforts for identified control deficiencies, coordinating with stakeholders to achieve timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain control documentation, including risk and control matrices.
• Provide training and awareness sessions to promote a strong risk culture.
• Support control testing, risk self‑assessments and continuous monitoring using data‑analytics tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, audit or control advisory.
• Proven expertise in designing, remediating and automating controls.
• Strong understanding of control frameworks such as COSO, SOX and COBIT.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
