Continental Chef – European Cuisine Specialist

About the role

All That Bakes is seeking a Continental Chef to lead the preparation and presentation of French and European‑inspired dishes. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Jamshedpur, and involves menu development, kitchen supervision and close collaboration with front‑of‑house staff.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and plate a variety of continental dishes in line with the café’s menu and quality standards.
• Manage daily food preparation, portioning, and ensure consistent plating and presentation.
• Monitor kitchen inventory, conduct stock checks and control waste.
• Uphold hygiene, safety and food‑safety protocols throughout the kitchen.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff and coordinate service timing with front‑of‑house teams.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in continental and French cuisine, including preparation, cooking techniques and menu planning.
• Experience working in a professional kitchen, patisserie or café environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards and kitchen sanitation practices.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations such as inventory control, portioning and quality checks.
• Formal culinary training or certification from a recognized institute is preferred; flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays.
