Consultant – Life Sciences Research & Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a Consultant to lead and grow our life‑science research and advisory practice. The role combines business development, proposal writing, and the management of multi‑disciplinary research projects for clients in medical devices, diagnostics, biotech and pharma.

Key responsibilities

• Define and achieve revenue and cost targets for the practice.
• Develop winning proposals by gathering client requirements, designing commercial frameworks and presenting solutions.
• Drive business development activities, including thought‑leadership content, marketing outreach and industry decks.
• Build, train and mentor a team of research specialists focused on techno‑commercial advisory services.
• Manage all client communications throughout the project lifecycle – kick‑off, deliverable presentations and feedback sessions.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and deliver high‑quality research.
• Experience leading and developing qualified professional teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a solid technical background in life‑science markets.
• Familiarity with open‑source and commercial market research databases and recent industry trends.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or an MBA; additional certifications in Project Management or Market Research are a plus.
