Consultant General Physician – Multi‑Speciality Hospital

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Consultant General Physician to join a multi‑speciality hospital in Nellore. The role involves independent management of outpatient, inpatient, intensive care and emergency services, delivering high‑quality medical care to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct OPD consultations and oversee the treatment of admitted patients.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Provide critical care for severely ill patients in ICU and emergency settings.
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, X‑rays and other diagnostic investigations.
• Stabilize medical emergencies and coordinate multidisciplinary care with super‑specialists.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans and preventive health measures.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, discharge summaries and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.

Required profile

• MD or DNB in General Medicine with a valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
• Experienced candidates preferred; ability to work independently across OPD, IPD, ICU and emergency.
• Professional, ethical and patient‑centred approach.
