Concrete Crew Supervisor

About the role

The Concrete Crew Supervisor leads the concrete construction, repair, and infrastructure improvement teams at Lagoon Amusement Park. This full‑time position plans, coordinates, and participates in all phases of concrete work while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with park standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train, schedule, and support concrete finishers and construction personnel.
• Plan, organize, prioritize, and oversee concrete projects across the park, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, placement, finishing, curing, and repairs.
• Develop project schedules, assign crew members, and coordinate labor, equipment, and material resources to meet deadlines.
• Review plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure quality workmanship and compliance.
• Coordinate activities with construction, plumbing, electrical, ride maintenance, landscaping, and other departments.
• Monitor progress, adjust schedules and staffing, and conduct site inspections for safety and OSHA compliance.
• Estimate material needs, manage inventory, and assist with budgeting and cost control.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities for crew members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Five years of concrete construction experience (preferred).
• Previous supervisory or foreman experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, curing, reinforcement systems, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, layouts, and construction drawings.
