Computer Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly trustworthy, experienced Computer Network Security Engineer to own and evolve our IT security infrastructure. Based in Delhi, you will work on‑site in a hybrid model, protecting Knowdis.ai’s e‑commerce AI platforms and data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain highly secure network architectures.
• Manage and configure next‑gen firewalls, VPNs and IDS/IPS solutions.
• Continuously monitor networks for vulnerabilities, active threats and potential breaches.
• Lead incident‑response efforts, perform root‑cause analysis and rapid remediation.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, data‑protection laws and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering and data‑science teams to enforce Zero‑Trust access controls.
• Educate staff on security best practices, mitigate insider threats and promote a security‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a Network Security Engineer, Information Security Analyst or similar role.
• Based in Delhi and able to work on‑site in a hybrid model.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with next‑gen firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching).
• Expertise in VPN architectures (IPsec, SSL VPN).
• Proficiency with SIEM tools, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and network monitoring solutions.
• Experience with IDS/IPS technologies.
