Community Manager

About the role

UPES is seeking a dynamic Community Manager to lead its flagship student leadership and advocacy programme. The role will build, nurture and scale a community of 200‑300 student ambassadors across the university’s seven schools, driving brand advocacy and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and manage a network of 200‑300 student ambassadors, ensuring high engagement through communication, mentorship and recognition programmes.
• Design and deliver training on brand advocacy, storytelling, content creation and digital engagement.
• Execute the programme calendar, coordinating campaigns, events, challenges and activations with Admissions, Student Affairs and academic schools.
• Guide ambassadors in producing high‑quality content such as reels, Instagram Stories, campus diaries, testimonials and event coverage.
• Foster authentic conversations on Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit and student forums to strengthen the UPES brand.
• Define success metrics, build dashboards and continuously optimise the programme based on data and feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in community management, brand marketing, student engagement or creator management.
• Proven track record of managing large ambassador or influencer programmes, preferably in higher education or consumer brands.
• Strong project‑management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to run multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management and mentorship skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and reporting.

• Familiarity with Instagram, LinkedIn and Reddit platforms.
