Community Manager – Student Ambassador Program

About the role

UPES is looking for a passionate and execution‑driven Community Manager to lead the university’s flagship student leadership and advocacy program. The role will build, nurture and scale a high‑performing community of 200+ student ambassadors across its seven schools.

Key responsibilities

• Build, onboard and manage a community of 200‑300 student ambassadors, fostering engagement through communication, mentorship and recognition programs.
• Plan and deliver training on brand advocacy, storytelling, content creation and digital engagement.
• Drive flawless execution of the program calendar, campaigns, events, challenges and activations in coordination with Admissions, Student Affairs and academic schools.
• Develop content briefs, campaign ideas and storytelling frameworks; guide ambassadors in producing Reels, Instagram Stories, campus diaries, testimonials and event coverage.
• Define success metrics and KPIs, build dashboards, track performance and continuously optimise the program based on data and feedback.

Required profile

• Exceptional execution and project‑management abilities.
• Strong capability to define, monitor and improve performance metrics.
• High inclination towards content creation, storytelling and current social‑media trends.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven experience building and managing large communities, preferably ambassador or campus‑engagement programs.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to run multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in reporting and performance tracking.
• Ability to motivate, mentor and influence young student communities.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in community management, brand marketing, student engagement or related fields.
