Community Manager

About the role

ZyNerd is building a leading platform that helps medical students make career‑defining counselling decisions. We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Manager who enjoys real‑time conversations, understands student needs, and can be the trusted voice of our brand.

Key responsibilities

• Transform official counselling notifications into clear, concise posts for WhatsApp, Telegram and other social channels.
• Monitor and respond promptly to messages in our WhatsApp and Telegram groups.
• Track brand mentions on Reddit and Quora, and create original posts to strengthen our presence.
• Engage with comments on YouTube videos and webinars.
• Manage online reputation, handling reviews, mentions and sentiment across platforms.
• Escalate serious issues quickly and support push‑notification content for exam updates.
• Collaborate closely with counselling, content and marketing teams.

Required profile

• Excellent written communication in English.
• Ability to understand user needs quickly without detailed instructions.
• Highly execution‑oriented, taking ownership of every conversation.
• Sharp sense of tone – knowing when to be warm, concise or to escalate.
• Curious, persistent and comfortable staying “always on” during working hours.
• Accountable mindset – owns mistakes, fixes them fast and ensures no message is missed.

Required skills

• Familiarity with WhatsApp and Telegram.
• Experience using Reddit, Quora and YouTube for community engagement.
