Community Development Manager

About the role

PropTechBuzz.com is looking for a full‑time remote Community Development Manager to build, nurture, and expand an engaged proptech‑focused community. You will design and execute engagement initiatives that bring together startups, partners, and industry stakeholders around our digital marketing platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and launch community engagement programs such as online forums, webinars, and social media activities.
• Communicate daily with community members, respond to inquiries, and create compelling content that drives participation.
• Coordinate volunteer, ambassador, or champion programs to amplify community reach.
• Track and analyse community metrics to improve retention and overall engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing and business‑development teams to align community efforts with broader growth objectives.
• Identify partnership opportunities with proptech startups, industry groups, and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience growing and maintaining active online or industry‑focused communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional approach to stakeholder interaction.
• Experience managing volunteers, ambassadors, or community champions.
• Understanding of economic development principles, preferably within technology, real‑estate, or proptech ecosystems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, juggling multiple initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, urban studies, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and non‑discriminatory community‑building practices.

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital collaboration and analytics tools (e.g., Slack, Trello, Google Analytics).
• Experience with online community platforms such as forums, webinar software, and social media channels.
