Commis Chef – Multiple Cuisines

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Commis Chef to join the kitchen team of a 5‑star luxury hotel in Kakinada. The role supports multiple culinary stations, preparing a variety of dishes across Continental, South Indian, Tandoor, Oriental and Indian cuisines. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior chefs to ensure consistent quality and timely service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior chefs in preparing and plating dishes for all listed cuisines.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
• Ensure mise en place is ready for each service period.
• Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet guest expectations and service timelines.

Required profile

• Hospitality or Culinary degree/diploma (essential).
• Minimum three years of experience in food production within a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure kitchen.
• Strong understanding of multiple cuisines as listed.
