Commis Chef – Café Cook for Waffles, Sundaes, Pasta, Burgers & Pizza

About the role

Run the kitchen side of service at Frost & Brew, a café in Brookefield, Bengaluru. You will prepare the full café menu – waffles, sundaes, pasta, burgers and pizza – consistently and maintain a clean, stocked kitchen. Stay and food are provided in addition to the salary.

Key responsibilities

• Cook and plate orders across the menu, including waffles, sundaes, pasta, burgers and pizza.
• Manage the waffle and sundae station as well as the savoury line.
• Maintain consistent quality and presentation during busy periods.
• Prepare ingredients ahead of service to avoid scrambling.
• Keep the kitchen clean during service and at closing.
• Follow standard operating procedures and report any that need improvement.
• Handle stock carefully to minimise waste.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in developing and refining menu dishes.

Required profile

• 2–6 years experience in a café, QSR or restaurant kitchen.
• Confidence cooking waffles, sundaes, pasta, burgers and pizza (demonstrated in a short kitchen trial).
• Comfortable working on both savoury and sweet stations.
• Ability to maintain quality and speed during rushes.
• Clean, organised and consistent work habits.
• Willingness to work fully on‑site in Brookefield; stay and food are provided.
• Preferred: food‑safety or culinary certification.
