Commercial Finance Business Partner Manager

About the role

Diageo is seeking a Manager – Commercial Finance Business Partner to support the finance function across its global premium drinks portfolio. You will partner with commercial teams, drive financial performance, and influence strategic decisions through data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Support AOP delivery on volume, net sales value (NSV), operating profit cash and pricing targets.
• Strengthen the Finance O&R process and embed a pre‑ and post‑M&E mindset for trade‑spend investments (BTL and TTL).
• Collect and improve C‑form processes, reducing timelines for net revenue‑management trade‑spend recording.
• Lead BTL claim processes for the cluster and adopt new BTL procedures, integrating NRM planning.
• Develop a culture of pre‑ and post‑M&E analysis for BTL and TTL spend.
• Collaborate with head‑office commercial and cross‑functional teams to understand route‑to‑market dynamics.
• Drive working‑capital reduction, provision unlocks, and pricing optimisation across volume, value and margin.
• Produce independent financial analysis, communicate insights to senior stakeholders, and partner with CH & SH to improve business performance.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with deep conceptual and practical knowledge of finance and basic understanding of related disciplines.
• Familiarity with best practices, competitive landscape, and integration of finance with other functions.
• Ability to act as a resource for team members, lead low‑risk projects, and solve problems with fresh perspectives.
• Strong judgment, ability to explain complex or sensitive information, and build consensus across teams.
