Cluster Manager – Axis Bank Channel

About the role

The Cluster Manager for the Axis Bank channel will drive insurance business growth across the assigned zone. Reporting to the Circle Relationship Head, the role focuses on partnering with HDFC‑related branch heads to promote Birla Sun Life Insurance products and achieve premium targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage key decision‑makers in Axis Bank branches to secure new insurance business.
• Achieve individual annualized premium targets of INR 5‑10 crore and maintain high persistency rates (≥80%).
• Provide end‑to‑end pre‑ and post‑sales support, including sales calls, policy issuance, and complaint handling.
• Coordinate with the Relationship/Zone Head to align channel priorities and ensure smooth process execution.
• Monitor market volatility, especially for unit‑linked policies, and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Drive innovative branch activities to increase customer penetration and product awareness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance sales within a banking channel or similar partnership model.
• Strong understanding of both insurance and banking products.
• Ability to manage relationships with multiple senior bank officials.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding premium and revenue targets.

• Knowledge of insurance product portfolio and banking channel operations.
