Clinic Registered Nurse (Full-Time)

About the role

The Rolla Walk‑In Clinic is seeking a full‑time Clinic Registered Nurse to support physicians and advanced practice providers. The RN will deliver direct patient care, perform assessments, administer treatments, and provide education in a fast‑paced outpatient environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians and APPs with examinations, procedures, and documentation.
• Administer medications (oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, topical, IV) and manage IV push and flushes.
• Maintain central lines, ports, and other venous access devices, ensuring infection‑prevention protocols.
• Perform point‑of‑care lab testing, collect blood and other specimens, and document results.
• Conduct phone triage, communicate test results, and act as liaison between providers and patients.
• Obtain vital signs, weight, and escort patients to exam rooms.
• Schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and obtain pre‑authorizations as required.
• Educate patients on MyChart enrollment and provide discharge teaching.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or a Compact state.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy clinic.
