Cleaner / Porter – Luxury Apartment Block

About the role

This is a temporary cover assignment with the potential to become permanent, supporting the Head Porter in the day‑to‑day operation of a well‑managed private luxury apartment block. The role combines cleaning, basic maintenance and porter duties while providing a high level of customer service to residents, visitors and contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections and light cleaning of internal and external communal areas, including corridors, landings, staircases and gardens.
• Perform fire‑door inspections, maintain refuse areas and uphold general site standards.
• Manage keys and parcels, assist residents with luggage or shopping, and support access‑control procedures.
• Conduct security checks, monitor key management and support building security protocols.
• Assist with minor compliance tasks such as access‑control tests and site checks.

Required profile

• Excellent command of English and strong customer‑service skills.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to interact daily with residents and visitors.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
• Good physical fitness for regular movement across staircases and between blocks.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices (training can be provided).
