Citrix Architect

About the role

Capgemini is looking for an experienced Citrix Architect to design and deliver enterprise‑grade virtual application and desktop solutions. You will work with global clients to translate business requirements into scalable Citrix environments across on‑premise, hybrid and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) solutions for large enterprises.
• Gather business and technical requirements and produce detailed solution designs.
• Lead end‑to‑end Citrix implementation projects, including planning, deployment and transition to operations.
• Architect high‑availability and disaster‑recovery configurations for Citrix infrastructure.
• Deliver solutions on Azure, AWS and GCP, and manage migrations from legacy Citrix platforms.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex performance, connectivity and authentication issues.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years focused on Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops architecture.
• Proven experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise‑scale Citrix VDI environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Azure Virtual Desktop integration.
• Ability to lead migration and modernization projects.
