Chinese Chef (Full-time, On-site)

About the role

The Hotel Ashish International in Bhilai is seeking a dedicated Chinese Chef to join its on‑site kitchen team. This full‑time position involves preparing authentic Chinese dishes for hotel guests, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control while supporting buffet and special event services.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir‑fries, soups, dim sum and sauces.
• Plan daily and weekly menus, coordinate mise en place and manage ingredient stock levels.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness in accordance with local regulations.
• Monitor portion sizes and control food costs to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff, stewards and service teams during peak service periods.
• Participate in recipe tasting, refinement and adaptation to local guest preferences.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Chinese Chef or Cook in hotel or restaurant settings.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese culinary techniques and authentic flavor profiles.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation and cleanliness standards.
