Chief Financial Officer (Remote)

About the role

Ejabi Group, a leading wholesaler of ceiling and partition systems across the GCC and East Africa, is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to steer its financial strategy and support sustainable growth. This remote position will oversee all financial operations, reporting, and compliance for the Group’s regional branches.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s financial strategy and annual plan, advising management on expansion, investments and profitability.
• Review, approve and consolidate monthly financial reports from each branch and present performance to the Managing Director.
• Prepare the annual budget for all branches, monitor variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage cash flow and working capital across the Group, optimise collections, payments and funding requirements.
• Monitor key financial KPIs such as sales, gross profit %, net profit, operating expenses, receivables, inventory turnover and cash flow.
• Establish financial policies, internal controls and ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate annual audits, review findings and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee treasury activities including credit facilities, letters of credit, bank guarantees and financing for expansion.
• Approve major supplier payments based on cash availability and monitor overall financial commitments.
• Evaluate new branches, investments and acquisitions, conduct feasibility studies and support fundraising and investor relations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA or MBA preferred.
• 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, including 3–5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, cash‑flow management, taxation and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Experience managing multi‑country financial operations, preferably within the GCC.
