Chartered Accountant – Indirect Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Indirect Taxation Specialist. You will stay updated on the latest GST, VAT and other indirect tax regulations, ensuring our clients remain fully compliant while optimizing their tax positions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor changes in indirect taxation laws and ensure timely filing of GST, VAT and related returns.
• Conduct thorough compliance reviews, identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Provide strategic advice on indirect tax implications for various business transactions.
• Assist clients in tax planning, risk mitigation and performance improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their financial goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• In‑depth knowledge of GST, VAT and other indirect tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
