Chartered Accountant – Indirect Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our team as an Indirect Taxation Specialist. The role focuses on staying current with indirect tax regulations and ensuring full compliance for our clients while providing strategic tax advice.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor changes in GST, VAT, and other indirect tax laws and ensure timely filing of returns.
• Conduct thorough compliance reviews and rectify any issues.
• Advise clients on tax implications of business transactions and identify planning opportunities.
• Develop strong client relationships, understand their financial goals, and deliver tailored tax solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver seamless service and mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to improving internal processes related to indirect tax services.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
• In‑depth knowledge of GST, VAT, and other indirect tax regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
