Certification Engineer – Avionics & Cabin Electronics

About the role

Airbus India is looking for a motivated Certification Engineer to join the Certification Technical Directorate. You will ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance of avionics and cabin electronic systems on Airbus aircraft, supporting safe and reliable product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Exercise Minor Change approval privileges granted by EASA in line with Part 21 and Design Organisation Approval requirements.
• Allocate and manage change dossiers in Airbus tools (AirCAM, ACC2, ICC) as the Airworthiness Mod Leader.
• Classify changes, identify applicable requirements, and verify compliance with the Compliance Verification Engineer.
• Prepare and sign Modification Approval Summaries, or issue refusals where necessary.
• Record approvals, report airworthiness issues, and support repair approval processes.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of airworthiness regulations and Airbus program requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate or post‑graduate degree in Aerospace, Avionics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Extensive experience as an Avionic or Cabin System Engineer.
• Proven ability to manage design changes and ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Airbus tools: AirCAM, ACC2, ICC.
• Strong knowledge of EASA Part 21, Design Organisation Approval and airworthiness regulations.
• Experience in change approval processes and modification documentation.
