Category Analyst – Business Analytics (E‑commerce)

About the role

The Business Analytics team drives data‑powered decisions for Lowes.com, supporting online revenue growth. As a Category Analyst you will partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to turn customer and product data into actionable insights that improve the digital shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, validate and analyze data from multiple sources to support category strategies.
• Perform quantitative analysis to uncover customer behavior, product preferences and emerging trends.
• Develop, maintain and automate daily, weekly and event‑based reports and dashboards.
• Analyze website performance using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and other tools.
• Partner with business partners to create insight‑driven action plans and support global navigation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business, digital or e‑commerce analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of SQL.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Proficiency with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics.
