Cargowise Consultant – Logistics Transformation

About the role

Infosys Consulting is seeking experienced logistics professionals to lead CargoWise‑based transformation projects for freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other supply‑chain players. You will work across multiple Indian locations in a hybrid model, guiding clients from strategy through implementation and adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Define vision, target operating model and transformation roadmap for freight forwarding, customs management and logistics operations.
• Conduct functional discovery workshops covering Ocean & Air freight, customs brokerage, shipment booking, consolidation, documentation, billing and financial settlement.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, user stories and solution designs.
• Lead CargoWise implementation phases – design, build, test, deployment, hypercare and stabilization.
• Validate master data, business rules, workflow configurations and reporting needs.
• Facilitate pilots, functional testing, UAT, defect triage and readiness reviews.
• Support change management, SOP creation, training material development and user adoption.
• Identify integration points between CargoWise and ERP, finance, carrier, customs and tracking systems.

Required profile

• Strong functional knowledge of the CargoWise platform.
• Extensive experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage or logistics consulting.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary consulting engagements and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical, communication and documentation skills.
