Cafe Staff – Serve Gelato & Café Items

About the role

Join the vibrant team of Amore Gelato & Café, operating under Procons Innovations, to deliver delightful desserts and café experiences to customers in Kochi. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, serving gelato, shakes, beverages, and light food while ensuring high standards of service and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Serve gelato, shakes, beverages, and café food items with precision and a friendly attitude.
• Attend to customers courteously at the counter and provide excellent service.
• Operate the POS system, process orders, payments, and handle customer queries efficiently.
• Prepare and assemble café food items following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain product quality, presentation, and portion consistency.
• Assist with basic food preparation, plating, heating, garnishing, and packaging.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bakery staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Keep the kiosk/café clean, hygienic, and well‑stocked throughout the shift.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies, and report shortages.
• Support opening and closing operations as scheduled.
• Engage in upselling, product recommendations, free sampling, and promotional activities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality.
• Basic communication skills in Malayalam and English.
• Positive attitude, team‑player mindset, and customer‑service orientation.
• Presentable, well‑groomed appearance.
• Willingness to work rotational full‑time shifts (morning/evening).
• Based in or ready to relocate to Kochi; students in hotel management or tourism are welcome.
