Cafe Staff – Guest Relations & Front of House

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer‑focused Cafe All‑Rounder to join MIYO Dessert Bar, a fast‑growing “freestyle” dessert concept in Mumbai. In this role you will be the first point of contact for guests, guiding them through our build‑your‑own dessert experience while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and explain the concept.
• Assist customers with choices and answer questions about ingredients and specials.
• Handle billing, payments, and POS systems responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and food‑handling standards at all times.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service team to ensure timely service.
• Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Address customer concerns politely and escalate issues when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hospitality role is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and customer‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practice.
