Cafe Staff – Customer‑Focused Role in Kochi

About the role

We are looking for energetic, customer‑focused individuals to join our Amore Gelato & Café outlets in Kochi. The role involves serving gelato, shakes, beverages and café food while delivering a friendly and efficient service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve gelato, shakes, beverages and café food items with precision and a friendly attitude.
• Attend to customers courteously at the counter and provide excellent service.
• Operate the POS system, process orders and payments, and handle customer queries efficiently.
• Prepare and assemble café food items following standard operating procedures.
• Maintain product quality, presentation and portion standards.
• Keep the kiosk/café clean, hygienic and well‑stocked throughout the shift.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and report shortages.
• Assist in opening and closing operations and support promotional activities such as upselling and free sampling.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in food & beverage, retail or hospitality.
• Basic communication skills in Malayalam and English.
• Positive, team‑player attitude with strong customer service orientation.
• Presentable and well‑groomed appearance.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kochi; students in Hotel Management or Tourism are welcome.
