Cafe Manager

About the role

The Cafe Manager will lead the on‑site café at Workspace Downtown in Bengaluru. This full‑time position oversees daily food and beverage operations, ensures a welcoming atmosphere for members and visitors, and supports the co‑working community through events and promotions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day café operations, including service flow and cleanliness.
• Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance.
• Maintain quality standards and compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, place orders and coordinate with suppliers.
• Control basic budgeting, cost control and pricing to optimise profitability.
• Provide hands‑on support during peak periods and handle customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the Workspace Downtown team to organise events, special offers and community activities.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in food & beverage operations and café or restaurant management.
• Ability to lead a team, manage schedules and work flexible hours.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
