C Developer – Data Management

About the role

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice is looking for a skilled C Developer to build and maintain high‑performance applications that integrate with Oracle databases. You will work within a global data‑analytics team, delivering reliable code on Linux/Unix platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain C applications that connect to relational databases such as Oracle.
• Implement multithreaded and system‑level features, ensuring efficient memory and process management.
• Debug and troubleshoot code using GDB or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate CGI C and OCI components.
• Maintain source code using Git and follow best practices for version control.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of data structures, pointers, and memory management.
• Experience with multithreading and system programming concepts.
• Good knowledge of algorithms and problem‑solving techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
