Buyer – MEP Procurement for Real Estate Development

About the role

The Buyer will lead procurement activities for electro‑mechanical (MEP) services, furniture and interior works within real‑estate and construction projects. This role ensures contracts are finalized, materials are sourced efficiently, and cross‑functional teams are coordinated from requisition through payment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, issue enquiries, collect offers and develop techno‑commercial comparison sheets.
• Generate internal cost estimates, notes for approval, purchase orders and work orders.
• Organise and facilitate pre‑bid technical validation meetings, kick‑off sessions and record minutes.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams throughout the requisition‑to‑payment cycle.
• Follow up with suppliers and vendors to monitor status, expedite deliveries and resolve issues.
• Manage downstream contract administration, including amendments and updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of combined contracting and procurement experience in MEP sourcing for real‑estate development.
• Bachelor of Engineering or B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
