Buyer – CHO Projects Procurement

About the role

The Buyer for CHO Projects will act as the primary liaison between internal users and external vendors, ensuring that technical specifications are met and that procurement processes run smoothly. This role involves initial negotiations, order placement, and maintaining accurate records in SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Validate technical requirements against vendor specifications and flag any discrepancies.
• Conduct the first round of negotiations with vendors for assigned categories.
• Prepare and float enquiries based on user needs.
• Place orders for approved items and record transactions in the SAP system.
• Address internal and external audit queries related to procurement, escalating when necessary.

Required profile

• B.Tech or B.E. degree.
• 2‑6 years of experience in category‑based sourcing, manufacturing procurement, or similar plant operations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze technical data and communicate effectively.

Required skills

• SAP procurement module.
