Business System Analyst II – EMEA Shift (Technology Solutions)

About the role

The Business Systems Analyst II – Business Intelligence supports the EMEA shift by consulting with business users to investigate data discrepancies, translate issues into development specifications, and test code changes within Allegis Global Solutions’ environment. The analyst acts as a subject‑matter expert on the end‑to‑end data flow, from talent systems through external sources to the data warehouse, and provides technical guidance to internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile and manage data quality, resolve discrepancies and validate results using SQL queries.
• Identify potential system issues through data analysis and support loading new clients into the enterprise data warehouse.
• Partner with BI developers to support QA processes and provide consultation for new BI features.
• Monitor, maintain and triage data‑quality defects via AGS360 (Salesforce) and troubleshoot integration failures in Azure and Snowflake.
• Create process models, technical specifications and guide developers or product teams.
• Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies, manage backlog items and test cases.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or consulting role.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on SQL querying and PowerBI data visualisation.
• B.S. in Computer Science, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem‑analysis skills with the ability to identify root causes.
