Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to coordinate SCV operations, support supplier onboarding, and drive continuous improvement across multiple platforms. The role is based in Bangalore and offers a supportive environment for learning and career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary coordinator for SCV 1.0 and SCV 2.0, liaising between suppliers, buyers, MPMs, IT/security teams, and the SCV support group.
• Process SCV requests by extracting missing drawings and attaching them to SCV events on a daily basis.
• Support supplier onboarding by analyzing primary locations and providing appropriate access levels.
• Triage and track SCV incidents and access requests via ServiceNow, ensuring resolution within SLA.
• Maintain the SCV Continuous Improvement Program tracker and drive initiatives to closure.
• Partner with Ariba, SAP, and Engineering Applications Security teams to resolve cross‑platform issues.
• Analyze incident trends and propose process or system improvements.
• Prepare monthly incident and usage reports for leadership review.
• Document SCV access‑request procedures, work instructions, and FAQs.
• Escalate systemic platform or security issues to engineering or IT leadership.
