Business Finance Controller

About the role

The Business Finance Controller will act as the bridge between finance and business verticals, providing real‑time analysis to influence strategic decisions. This role focuses on cost optimisation, performance reporting and driving financial discipline across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of business cost drivers and lead data‑driven trend analysis to improve P&L shape.
• Prepare Annual Operating Plan, accurate forecasts, and performance reports (Plan vs Actuals, EAC).
• Create and publish business dashboards, monthly business review packs and cost‑by‑nature reports.
• Drive cost competitiveness, ensure invoicing compliance and support month‑end/year‑end close processes.
• Stakeholder management with regional business teams, run weekly reviews and automate finance processes.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of experience.
• Prior experience as a business finance partner.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Self‑starter with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
