Sr. Manager Accounting & Finance

About the role

The Sr. Manager Accounting & Finance will lead daily financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient processes for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions including billing, bookkeeping, A/R, A/P, GL, cost center accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee month‑close, quarter‑close and year‑end activities, ensuring accurate provisions, accruals and error‑free financial statements.
• Drive AP metric dashboards, monitor AP/AR ageing, and ensure timely employee reimbursements.
• Supervise payroll processing, statutory compliance, tax filings (GST, TDS, Advanced Tax) and fixed‑asset management.
• Lead treasury activities such as cash‑flow review, bank reconciliations, and liaison with bankers for forex and forward contracts.
• Develop and document accounting policies, maintain internal controls, and act as liaison for internal and statutory auditors.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, handling hiring, training, performance feedback and change management.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant with 12+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or Finance Controller, with strong team‑management capabilities.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS/IND AS, statutory and tax compliance requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end/year‑end close processes and general ledger functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (HANA) for financial processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/IND AS and related statutory tax compliances.
