Business Development Manager

About the role

Hiwaga Makers, a 360° advertising and marketing agency, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join its team in Kottayam. This full‑time, hybrid position focuses on identifying new business opportunities and turning prospects into long‑term client partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Research and qualify potential clients across target industries.
• Conduct discovery calls, prepare and present tailored proposals.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with strategy, creative, and media teams to design solutions aligned with client goals.
• Participate in client meetings, industry events, and networking activities.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing account growth to ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, lead generation, and client relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising services, including digital marketing, campaign strategy, social media, and brand development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical and strategic thinking to assess client needs and structure solutions.
• Experience using CRM tools, sales tracking systems, and productivity software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup and manage multiple opportunities in a fast‑paced agency environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent practical experience.
