Business Development Manager – Export Sales

About the role

EK Engineering is seeking an Export Sales Executive to drive international growth across Africa and the Middle East. You will own the full B2B sales cycle, from prospect research to closing deals, while expanding our network of distributors and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets and identify potential customers using LinkedIn, Google and industry databases.
• Initiate contact with decision‑makers through cold calls, email and LinkedIn outreach.
• Qualify leads, prepare quotations and negotiate pricing, terms and delivery requirements.
• Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular activity reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B export sales, international business development or technical sales.
• Fluent, professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and comfortable making cold calls.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Strong spreadsheet skills for reporting and analysis.
