Business Development Executive

About the role

Profession Hike is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to expand its network of educational partners across India. You will work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify, engage, and onboard colleges, universities, and other institutions, helping students discover the right courses and career paths.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and conduct cold outreach to potential partner institutions.
• Arrange and deliver meetings and presentations to showcase the platform.
• Nurture leads, maintain a robust sales pipeline, and track progress against targets.
• Build and sustain long‑term relationships with educational stakeholders.
• Collect market feedback and collaborate with internal teams to refine services, pricing, and partnership models.
• Prepare regular performance reports and support strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in lead generation, client relationship management, and basic sales pipeline handling, preferably in education.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and present actionable insights.
• Comfortable using CRM tools, office productivity software, and online communication platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; internships or prior BD/sales experience are a plus.
• Self‑driven, organized, target‑oriented, and collaborative.
