Business Development Executive – IT Software Sales

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Executive to drive the growth of our IT software portfolio. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, and promoting our software solutions to prospective clients across South India.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new leads through research, networking and outreach activities.
• Present, demonstrate and sell software solutions tailored to client needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close contracts to meet sales targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including product, support and delivery—to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas and report performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in IT or software sales.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel between Coimbatore, Chennai and Tirupur.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of CRM tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
