Business Development Executive – Environmental Consultancy

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join Earth En Quest Advisory’s environmental consultancy team in Raipur. The role combines office work with frequent field visits to industrial clients across Chhattisgarh, focusing on promoting environmental and regulatory services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop prospective industrial clients for environmental consultancy and technical services.
• Visit industries in Raipur, Durg‑Bhilai, Bilaspur, Raigarh and Korba to uncover business opportunities; travel allowance reimbursed.
• Build relationships with EHS professionals, plant personnel and decision‑makers.
• Understand client environmental requirements and match them with appropriate services.
• Generate leads through field visits, networking, market research, referrals and LinkedIn.
• Follow up leads, convert qualified prospects into business opportunities and prepare proposals/quotations.
• Maintain a database of prospects and update lead status regularly.
• Track environmental consultancy opportunities and regulatory developments in the region.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in business development, sales or B2B marketing, preferably in industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of environmental consultancy, EHS, pollution control or related regulatory frameworks (CECB/CPCB) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Chhattisgarh and a valid driving licence.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and comfortable working independently in the field.
