Business Analyst - Payments and Digital Journeys

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to drive payments and digital journey initiatives for global banking clients. You will work across multiple locations in India on projects that transform retail banking, payment services and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and document business requirements, manage product backlogs and support Agile delivery using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with business, technology and operations teams across Asia, MENA, Europe and the Americas to define MVP scope, author epics and user stories, and validate solutions with product owners, risk, legal and compliance.
• Analyse customer channels such as mobile banking apps and web front‑ends, conduct market research, As‑Is analysis and guide solution architects through detailed walkthroughs.
• Lead the full delivery lifecycle from problem framing to implementation, ensuring regulatory alignment and business change support.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in payments within retail banking, preferably with global bank exposure.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders in multi‑country, cross‑cultural environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a track record of delivering clear, aligned solutions.

Required skills

• Jira – hands‑on experience for backlog and sprint management.
• Confluence – hands‑on experience for documenting requirements and user stories.
